About Us Rock and Rapid Adventures - The Adventure and Expedition Specialists The people behind Rock and Rapid Adventures both work and play hard in the Outdoors. We have always searched for the best kit to enable us to complete the challenges we put ourselves to. Living in the South West UK we found problems in finding specialist shops where we could get exactly what we needed. In the end it was decided the easiest way around this was creating a shop of our own that offered climbers and outdoor people the best of what they needed from products to advice and support. The opportunity arose to build a shop in one of the few dedicated climbing centres in the South West - The Mill. What better place to meet like minded climbers! The shop was born and we finished construction at the beginning of 2008. We feel we offer great product knowledge and support - so then came the next step, the Online Shop. Why shouldn't the rest of the climbing community have the opportunity to be able to buy from a fresh and active shop who offer great support. Our ethos is to stock equipment that is great quality and what people need. Our thoughts are not to stocking the brands you can buy in every other shop on the High Street. We believe in supporting smaller outdoor manufacturers who offer a brilliant product, but perhaps are not very well represented in the Outdoor Market. We believe in testing our products extensively - we don't sell what we don't know. Therefore we are happy that everything that leaves our shelves has been used by one of our team.
